Bandits abduct 4 family members in Niger

Tungan-Mangoro village in Nasko, Magama Local Government Area of Niger State, was thrown into panic on the evening of July 14, 2025, following a shocking abduction incident carried out by suspected bandits.
According to reports obtained by security analyst Zagazola Makama, the assailants struck around 7:00 p.m., targeting the residence of a respected community elder, Alhaji Danlami.
In a swift and terrifying raid, the gunmen abducted four of his relatives at gunpoint, leaving the community in fear and confusion.
The victims have been identified as Abbas Danlami, Jamila Dan’asibi (female); Samaila Dan’asibi, and Naja.
Sources in the area said the attackers arrived in large numbers and operated for several minutes, causing panic among residents.
Security forces have since launched a search operation in nearby forests to locate the abductors and rescue the victims.
