How Amaechi’s wife was receiving N4bn monthly from NDDC – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has alleged that Judith Amaechi, wife of former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, received a monthly payment of N4 billion from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Wike made the allegation during an interview aired Friday on Channels Television.

He asserted that the funds, purportedly earmarked for training women in the Niger Delta, were consistently directed to Amaechi’s wife during Buhari’s  presidency, raising red flags over transparency and the use of public resources.

“I am telling you authoritatively that every month, Amaechi wife N4 billion was going to her in the name of training Niger Delta women,” Wike declared. “Let Mr President ,Bola Ahmed Tinubu, release the NDDC forensic audit. If it is proven to be false, I will resign immediately as FCT minister ”

As of the time of this report, there has been no official response from either Amaechi or the NDDC regarding the claims.
