Group launches nationwide mobilization to back Tinubu s leadership pushes for 2027 re election

A political movement known as Renewed Hope Vanguard for Tinubu has announced its plans to rally widespread support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration and set the stage for his potential second term.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the group’s Acting National Publicity Secretary, Seyi Olorunsola, the organization said its mission is to unite Nigerians across diverse backgrounds behind the president’s reform agenda.

“In a time of deep national recalibration, when strong leadership, bold ideas, and consistent follow-through are most needed, Nigeria is fortunate to have President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the helm. His far-reaching reform agenda under the Renewed Hope mantra is gradually laying the foundation for a new Nigeria—one that is built on economic revitalization, institutional accountability, infrastructure development, and social inclusion,” it said.

The group described itself as a civic-driven initiative dedicated to promoting what it calls the “visionary leadership” of President Tinubu, with a strong emphasis on grassroots engagement.

“As citizens and stakeholders in the Nigerian Project, it is our civic and patriotic duty to support this national rebirth, ensure its success, and guard its sustainability. This is the ideological bedrock upon which the Renewed Hope Vanguard for Tinubu is founded.

“Led by our indefatigable National Coordinator, Chief Austin C. Oguejiofor, the Renewed Hope Vanguard for Tinubu is a mass-based political movement designed to mobilize Nigerians from all walks of life to support, defend, and promote the visionary leadership of President Tinubu. Our commitment is not just to the person of the President, but to the noble ideals his administration represents—ideals that speak to a prosperous, secure, and united Nigeria.”

According to the statement, the group’s stated vision is to emerge as “the leading grassroots political movement that champions the Renewed Hope Agenda for national transformation, unity, and sustainable development in Nigeria.”

It further outlined its mission: “Our Mission is to mobilize, sensitize, and empower Nigerians across all regions and demographics to align with the policies and programs of the Tinubu administration; to build a nationwide network of committed advocates who will propagate the message of Renewed Hope and secure the mandate of continuity in governance come 2027.”

The group listed its primary goals as increasing national support for Tinubu’s administration, disseminating information about key policies and reforms, and reinforcing public confidence in government initiatives. These include outreach campaigns on housing, infrastructure, economic growth, and social welfare.

It also made clear its political ambition: “To build a formidable structure that will actively work towards the re-election of President Tinubu in the 2027 General Elections, thereby consolidating the gains of his first term.

“To establish strategic partnerships with political leaders, traditional institutions, youth and women groups, and civil society organizations in a unified push to ensure policy continuity and democratic stability.

“Geopolitical and Local Structure Expansion: To set up fully functional zonal, state, and local government chapters of the organization, beginning with the North West Zone in the coming weeks, followed by other regions nationwide.”

The group described itself as a dynamic political force positioned to merge grassroots energy with modern outreach techniques.

“The Renewed Hope Vanguard for Tinubu is not just another political pressure group. We are an idea whose time has come. We are positioning to deliver an unprecedented grassroots political mobilization model—digital, physical, and relational—aimed at connecting the lofty ideals of the presidency with the aspirations of the Nigerian people.

“In the coming weeks, our organizational structure will spread across the nation. From the North-West to the South-East, from state capitals to rural communities, our message is clear: President Tinubu must be supported to complete the important work he has begun.

“We are calling on party faithful, patriotic Nigerians, community leaders, and political stakeholders to identify with this national initiative and play their part in actualizing a better Nigeria.”

The group also argued that Tinubu’s first-term reforms, though difficult, are already producing early results and deserve continuity.

“President Tinubu’s economic reforms have not been without pain, but they are necessary and already beginning to yield results. The removal of the unsustainable fuel subsidy regime, exchange rate unification, and public sector reform are laying a sustainable economic foundation.

“Key achievements include:The Renewed Hope Housing Project, offering affordable homeownership to low- and middle-income Nigerians; The Student Loan Scheme, now operational, giving hope to young Nigerians aspiring for higher education; The Conditional Cash Transfer and business support initiatives targeted at easing the burden of subsidy removal;A new investor-friendly fiscal and tax policy environment to drive job creation and expand the productive base of the economy.”

The movement said a second term is essential for President Tinubu to cement his economic blueprint and push Nigeria toward global competitiveness.

“With these measures gaining traction, another term for President Tinubu will enable Nigeria to complete its journey from economic instability to sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

“By consolidating the gains of the first term and pushing deeper reforms in power generation, agricultural productivity, industrialization, and digital economy transformation, Nigeria has the potential to emerge as one of the top 10 economies in the world by 2030, according to projections by the World Bank, IMF, and several development institutions.”
