In a bold operation on Wednesday, members of a local vigilante group in Zamfara State successfully killed two of the region’s most dreaded bandit leaders Kacalla Maijikka and Me Dada.
The operation took place in Garagi village, located in the Mayanchi district of Maru Local Government Area. According to local sources, the vigilantes stormed the hideout of the criminals in a well-coordinated raid that ended in a fierce confrontation.
Me Dada, notorious for terrorizing rural communities, was reportedly beheaded during the operation, while Kacalla Maijikka was also neutralized on the spot.
Both men were said to be responsible for numerous abductions, killings, and cattle rustling incidents that have plagued Zamfara and its neighboring states.
