Ndume blasts Tinubu’s administration, labels officials as ‘kleptocrats’

Senator Ali Ndume has stirred national conversation with a scathing critique of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of being dominated by “kleptocrats” a term referring to corrupt leaders who exploit national resources for personal gain.
Speaking during a candid interview on Arise TV on Tuesday night, June 24, the Borno South lawmaker did not mince words as he expressed frustration over the state of governance under Tinubu’s leadership.
‘’You do not form your government with dependants. Worse of it is that the President is a kingmaker and so when a kingmaker becomes a king, then there is a problem which he must identify himself so that he can have people that will stand up to him and tell him the truth. This is now what is lacking in this government.
The government of Tinubu is dominated by ‘khakitocrats’ and kleptocrats.”
Taking a wipe at presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, who once described him as a ‘’frustrated lone wolf” who consistently criticizes the Tinubu government, Ndume said;
‘’I do not want to mind Bayo Onanuga. He is a domestic staff to the President. I am a Senator, four times. How dare he calls me that? I am not frustrated? Why will I be frustrated? I contested to be a Senator. I won four times,. Two times in the House of Representatives. Where will the frustration come from? I am a son of nobody who became somebody without knowing anybody. Ask the President, I am not one of his dependents. I am his ally”.
