Barau Jibrin hails Minister Atah on 63rd birthday

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has congratulated the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abdullahi Atah, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, celebrated on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

In a goodwill message issued in Abuja through his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Seyi Olorunsola, Senator Jibrin described Atah as a prominent figure in Nigerian politics and a distinguished son of Kano State, whose public service career has been marked by dedication, vision, and a deep commitment to grassroots development.

Paying tribute to Atah’s influential role in Kano’s political landscape, Senator Jibrin said the minister has played a central part in shaping the state’s politics for more than two decades.

“Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Atah is a name that resonates with political maturity, bridge-building, and people-centered leadership. His unwavering loyalty to the ideals of democracy and his tireless dedication to public service have made him a household name not only in Kano but across Nigeria,” the Deputy Senate President said.

Highlighting Atah’s role in the current administration, Jibrin praised the minister for his ongoing contributions as part of the Federal Executive Council, noting his efforts to implement President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through housing reform and inclusive urban development.
