JUST IN : Another Air India plane makes emergency landing after bomb threat

Just a day after a tragic crash involving an Air India flight bound for the UK claimed hundreds of lives, another aircraft operated by the airline was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday following a bomb threat.
The latest incident involved an Airbus A320 traveling from Phuket, Thailand to New Delhi.
According to a statement posted by Airports of Thailand on its official Phuket Facebook page, the flight crew alerted air traffic control shortly after takeoff about a threatening message discovered onboard.
FlightRadar24 data shows the aircraft making a sharp U-turn over the Andaman Sea and circling multiple times near the island’s coastline before safely returning to Phuket.
This scare comes less than 24 hours after an Air India flight en route to London crashed in Ahmedabad, India, resulting in the deaths of at least 265 people, including casualties on the ground.
Authorities have not released further details about the nature of the threat or any subsequent investigation, but updates are expected as the situation develops.
