No one can expel me from PDP – Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has responded defiantly to calls for his expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), making it clear that he remains unshaken by the political pressure.
Speaking during a media parley in Abuja on Monday, Wike boldly declared that no one has the power to annul his membership in the PDP. His remarks come amid growing tension within the party, fueled by internal critics who have been pushing for disciplinary action against him.
He said, “I am still in PDP. I worked hard for the party. I have not seen anybody who will have the guts to tell me, Wike, you are not a member of the party. Who is that? What is his contribution to the party that is more than me?” he queried.
