Reno Omokri meets Tinubu, declares unwavering support for Renewed Hope agenda

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan,on Saturday met President Bola Tinubu and publicly pledged his “full, unequivocal, and unwavering support” for the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The personal meeting, which took place in Lagos, saw Omokri, who campaigned vigorously for People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, saw Omokri aligning  himself firmly with Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda aimed at transforming Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape.

“I met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today and reaffirmed my full, unequivocal, and unwavering support for his Renewed Hope agenda and the goal of making Nigeria a better place for all Nigerians under his Presidency,” the official stated.

“By the grace of God, my prayer is for his Presidency to last for another six years and naturally end on May 29, 2031, after he must have served two terms in office, God sparing his life,” Omokri said in a Facebook post.

The show of support comes at a pivotal moment for Tinubu’s administration, which marked its second year in office on May 29, 2025, amid push for another term in the 2027 presidential candidate.
