Oby Ezekwesili bags new appointment

Former Nigerian Minister of Education and renowned public policy expert, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has been appointed as an Advisor to the Club de Madrid an influential international organization made up of former democratic presidents and prime ministers from around the world.
Ezekwesili announced the development on Tuesday via her official X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing her appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the organization’s global mission.
Describing the Club de Madrid as the world’s largest forum of democratic former heads of state and government, Ezekwesili noted that the group works to strengthen democratic values, leadership, and good governance worldwide.

In her post, she emphasized the forum’s mission to utilize the collective leadership experience and global influence of its members to promote inclusive democratic governance and enhance the quality of life for people around the world.
