AEDC gives reason for power outage in parts of Abuja

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has given reason for the power outage experienced in parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Friday.

A public notice issued by the company blamed power outage on technical issue.

It reads : “Dear valued customers in Apo Zone C, Zone D, Zone E extensions, Maitama Heights, Oakland, Catholic Church, Coscharis Estate, Hill Top and all its environs.

“We regret to inform you that the ongoing power outage is due to a technical fault affecting the feeders serving these locations.

“Our dedicated technical team is working tirelessly to restore power as quickly as possible.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to serve you better.”
