BREAKING: VeryDarkMan regains freedom from EFCC custody

Popular social media activist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

His release was announced on Wednesday by human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Details surrounding the conditions of his release remain unclear at the time of this report, but his freedom has been welcomed by supporters who had been vocal on social media, calling for his release.

“Thanks to unrelenting efforts of all @thatverydarkman has been released from unjust detention at the @officialEFCC. He is with his ebullient lawyer, @adeyanjudeji,” Sowore tweeted.
