Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ, Kutunku Abuja, upgraded to LCC

The Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ, ERCC, Zion City Mission, Kutunku Abuja has been upgraded to Local Church Council, LCC.
Speaking during the Upgrade Special Service of the Church in Kutunku Abuja, the Arch Dean, Abuja Conference of Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ, ERCC, Reverend Kefas Sani – Wujun said with the upgrade, the Church would no longer be referred to as Mission but Local Church Council, LCC.
According to him, the Church has been promoted and it’s independent now to effectively disseminate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“The LCC arm of the Church now has the power to go and open new worship centres towards winning more souls to Christ and it is therefore henceforth given the mandate to do so ” the Arch Dean stated.
Reverend Kefas Sani Wujun therefore advised the Pastor and Elders of the Church to redouble their efforts towards achieving the set goals and mandate of ERCC.
He used the opportunity to call on wealthy christians to always channel their resources to the service of God and humanity.
Reverend Kefas Sani Wujun who expressed concern over the attitude of some wealthy christians towards the propagation of the gospel added that God gives wealth and riches to His children to make positive impact in life.
Earlier , the Minister in charge of ERCC, Kutunku Abuja, Reverend Job Tsokaa expressed gratitude to the Abuja Conference of ERCC for founding the Church worthy of promotion.
Reverend Job Tsokaa promised that the Church would not betray the confidence reposed in it by the Abuja Conference of ERCC.
He therefore enjoined Elders and members of the Church not to relent in contributing their quota to the expansion of God’s kingdom
In a goodwill message , the Mai Angwan of Old Kutunku, Keida Road, Phase Two Abuja, Chief Bitrus Mohammed Baba stressed the need for religious groups not to relent in praying for Nigeria to overcome its economic and security challenges.
Chief Bitrus Mohammed Baba also emphasized the need for Christians to be steadfast in faith and prayers towards overcoming the current challenges in the country.
Some members of the Church who spoke during the upgrade service reiterated their commitment to the progress of Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ towards realizing its objectives in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Highpoint of the Upgrade Special Service was prayers for the Pastor, Elders and the New Executives of the Church.
