Presidency reveals when Tinubu will return to Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria today, Monday, following a working visit to Europe.
This was confirmed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga shared the update in a brief statement via his official X handle, simply stating, “President Bola Tinubu will return home today.”
President Tinubu had departed Nigeria on April 2 for Paris, France, for what was described as a short ‘working visit’.
During the visit, he was expected to appraise his administration’s mid-term performance and assess key milestones since assuming office.
In an earlier statement, Onanuga said the President would use the retreat “to review the progress of ongoing reforms and engage in strategic planning ahead of his administration’s second anniversary.”
The period, he added, would also help inform plans to deepen reforms and accelerate national development priorities in the year ahead.
Following his engagements in Paris, President Tinubu proceeded to London over the weekend, where he continued consultations and maintained regular communication with senior government officials in Abuja.
