Don’t lose sleep over our visit to Buhari, we’re all politically irrelevant- El-Rufai

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has called on his political opponents not to lose sleep over Friday’s visit to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.
PlatinumPost reports that El-Rufai alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, among other prominent politicians visited Buhari in Kaduna on Friday in what some analyst described as a major move ahead of political realignment towards 2027 election.
But addressing reactions prompted by the visit, El-Rufai, who recently dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Social Democratic Party (SDP), said political adversaries need not to worry or entertain fears over mere courtesies to Buhari.
His words : “FRIDAY MESSAGE: Former VP Atiku Abubakar, former Governors Aminu Tmbuwal (Sokoto), Achike Udenwa (Imo), Gabriel Suswam (Benue) and I, among others, were in Kaduna for Post-Sallah courtesies to former President Muhammadu Buhari. We joined other faithful for Jumaat prayers at the Yahaya Road Mosque and had a sumptuous lunch at the Buhari Residence.
“By the way, our adversaries should not lose any sleep. It is not about politics. It is about unity and brotherhood. And since we are all politically irrelevant, we just prayed and enjoyed lunch with our mentor.”
