JUST IN: Gunmen kill hotelier in Ondo

The Chief Executive Officer of Klass Five Hotel, Adesoji Johnson Adeleye, was brutally assassinated in the early hours of Tuesday at his residence in the Arakale area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

A close friend of the late hotelier, who requested anonymity, disclosed that they had spent Monday night together before the tragic incident occurred. According to him, Adeleye was stabbed multiple times by unknown assailants in what appears to be a targeted attack.

Confirming the incident, the Ondo State Police Command spokesperson, Alexander Olayinka, stated that the case has been transferred to the state police headquarters for a discreet investigation.
