First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, performs foundation laying ceremony of its pastorium

First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja has performed the groundbreaking of its new Pastorium.

Speaking during the foundation laying ceremony in Gwagwalada Abuja, the Minister in charge of the Church, Reverend Deji Oyelami said the move was to further enhance the propagation of the gospel through a befitting accommodation for whosoever would be the Minister of the Church.

Reverend Deji Oyelami who commended members of the Church for their dedication and commitment to God’s work admonished them not to relent in offering their time and substances to the propagation of the gospel.

He expressed the hope that the project would be completed in due course.

The Baptist Clergyman therefore advised Christians to always channel their resources to the service of God and humanity.

Reverend Deji Oyelami noted that working for God is more rewarding hence the need for Christians to key into divine blessings through giving.

“This Pastorium we’re doing the foundation laying ceremony today is long overdue because this is our permanent site and we need an accomodation for the Minister in charge of the Church even after my service here in Gwagwalada, therefore we give God all the glory for making it possible for us today to make this a reality for the Church” He added

Some members of the Church who witnessed the foundation laying ceremony expressed gratitude to God for the commencement of the project.

They therefore prayed God to bless them to enable them contribute their quota and finance to the successful completion of the Pastorium project.
