 Eid el Fitr NACHPN felicitates Muslims lauds Tinubu Pate for renewing Bashir Idris tenure

The President of National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, NACHPN, Comrade Kabir Yahaya Ahmed, has felicitated with Muslims and members of the Association on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

In his Sallah message in Abuja, Comrade Ahmed admonished Muslims to use the occasion in praying for the unity, peace and development of Nigeria.

Ahmed also stressed the need for them to use the period in rededicating their lives to the service of God and humanity.

According to him, this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration calls for sober reflection in view of the current situation in the country.

The President of NACHPN also used the occasion in calling for the overhaul of the nation’s Primary Healthcare System towards enhancing the wellbeing of Nigerians nationwide.

He equally emphasized the need for more recruitment of community health practitioners towards meeting the shortfall in workforce in primary healthcare centres in the country.

While commending the efforts of the Minister of Health and Social Development, Professor Pate in repositioning the nation’s health sector, Comrade Kabir Yahaya Ahmed called for improved welfare packages and renumeration for community health practitioners to improve their productivity.

Ahmed equally commended President Bola Tinubu’ and the Minister of Health and Social Development for renewing the tenure of the Registrar/CEO, Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria, Dr. Bashir Idris noting that the move would go a long way in strengthening the sector for optimal performance.

He stated that the NACHPN would continue to compliment the efforts of President Bola Tinubu’s led administration in the area of healthcare delivery towards actualizing the renewed hope agenda in the health sector for Nigerians.
