Nollywood actress Annie Idibia, now estranged from music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has broken her silence, thanking her supporters in an emotional social media post.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Annie—using her maiden name, Macaulay—expressed gratitude to family, friends, and fans who stood by her during the tumultuous period following her highly publicized breakup with 2Baba.

“To my family, to my friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family here and all over the world, God Bless you for the outpouring of love.

“I appreciate every single one of you and I do not take any of it for granted.

Her message comes just hours after she reactivated her social media accounts, having previously wiped her Instagram clean—an action that fueled speculation about her state of mind post-breakup.

Annie and 2Baba’s marriage, long plagued by controversies, officially ended in January when the singer publicly announced their separation. In a shocking twist, 2Baba has since moved on with his new fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, an Edo lawmaker. Reports suggest that Annie sought rehabilitation in the aftermath of the split.
