Real reason I returned to APC – Jandor

Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor and the 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, has explained his decision to return to his former political family, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking in Lagos on Monday, Adediran stated that after experiencing both parties, he found the APC to be far better than the PDP. He made this declaration while formally announcing his defection to the ruling party in the state.
Adediran, with some of his supporters under the guise of Lagos4Lagos, had during the 2023 electioneering campaign defected to the PDP. He contested on its platform and emerged a distant third.

Intrigues trailed his performance and they culminated in his resignation from the party on March 3.
‘Jandor’ recalled his journey into PDP, saying he decided to go back to APC as a reflection of his commitment to the progress of Lagos State and his belief that unity among the progressives was essential to achieving the collective aspirations of the people.
Adediran, who lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his contributions to democracy and nation building, said he had done much to deepen democracy in the country.
APC in Lagos State has welcomed ‘Jandor’ and his loyalists back to its fold.
Reacting yesterday in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the state APC spokesman, Mr Seye Oladejo, said the party was excited to welcome Adediran back to its fold.
