Properties worth millions destroyed as fire guts market in Ibadan

A massive fire outbreak erupted at Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Tuesday night, causing panic among traders and destroying goods worth millions of naira.

Confirming the incident, the General Manager of Oyo State Fire Services, Akinyemi Akinyinka, stated that firefighters were actively battling the flames. “Our men are currently working at Aleshinloye Market,” he said, assuring that further updates would be provided as the situation unfolds.
