S3xual harassment : I have solid proof against your husband — Natasha tells Akpabio’s wife

Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has asserted that she possesses “concrete evidence” to support her claims of s3xual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Akpoti-Uduaghan made this statement on Saturday, urging Akpabio’s wife, Unoma, to step back from the controversy surrounding the accusations against her husband.
Tensions between Akpoti-Uduaghan and Akpabio reportedly began when she resisted a change in her seating arrangement within the Senate chamber. The situation escalated on Friday when she publicly detailed how Akpabio allegedly victimized her after she rejected his advances.
According to Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senate President retaliated by ignoring her motions, maligning her character, and using intimidation tactics in response to her rejection.
In response, Unoma Akpabio accused Akpoti-Uduaghan of fabricating the allegations for personal benefit, stating that her husband was being falsely accused.
However, in a legal letter dated March 1, 2025, and addressed to Unoma through her lawyer, Victor Giwa, Akpoti-Uduaghan advised her to distance herself from the matter.
The letter, titled “Stay Away from Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Sexual Harassment and Intimidation Allegation Against Sen. President Godswill Akpabio; To Safeguard Your Sanity and That of Your Family,” emphasized that the allegations were solely against Akpabio and should be handled by him directly.
The letter stated: “Our client has concrete evidence to substantiate her allegations. We suggest that you leave the defence of these allegations to the Senate President to maintain your sanity and that of your family.”
Meanwhile, Unoma Akpabio has filed a lawsuit against Akpoti-Uduaghan at the Federal Capital Territory High Court, accusing her of defamation and violating her fundamental rights. She is seeking N350 billion in damages.
