My husband is a disciplined man, didn’t s3xually harass Natasha – Akpabio’s wife

Wife of the Senate President, Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, has dismissed allegations of sexual harassment leveled against her husband, Senator Godswill Akpabio, by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central), describing them as false and unfounded.
Addressing reporters on Friday, Mrs. Akpabio stood by her husband, describing him as a principled and cheerful man who treats women with respect.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan had claimed that her difficulties in the Senate began after she allegedly turned down unwanted advances from Akpabio.
In response, Mrs. Akpabio dismissed the accusations, stating that the two families had shared a cordial relationship long before Senator Natasha’s marriage. She also noted that she was present at their home on December 8, 2023 — the date of the alleged incident.
Highlighting her husband’s history of advocating for women’s inclusion in politics, Mrs. Akpabio reaffirmed his commitment to supporting women in leadership roles, even before his current position as Senate President.
She cautioned against false accusations and revealed plans to pursue legal action regarding the claims.
