NAF rains bombs on Kachallah Haru’s hideouts, kill scores in Eastern Shinkafi

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has launched intense airstrikes on bandit strongholds in the eastern part of Shinkafi Local Government Area, eliminating numerous armed fighters and dismantling their hideouts.

According to intelligence sources, who spoke with counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama on Sunday, the strikes targeted the home of notorious bandit leader Kachalla Haru in Katsira Forest.

The operation extended into Fakai Forest, a known refuge for criminal groups responsible for terrorizing local communities.

Ground forces confirmed that the air assault killed multiple bandits, while also destroying their livestock and logistical supplies.

A senior military official stated that surveillance efforts were ongoing to track down and eliminate those who escaped the air raids.
