4 die in Jigawa road accident

Four people have died and 12 others sustained injuries following a tragic car accident near Busuku village in Kirikasamma Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

The victims were reportedly en route to a wedding ceremony in Saleri village, also within the same LGA, when the fatal crash occurred.

Confirming the incident during a condolence visit to Busuku, the Chairman of Kirikasamma LGA, Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, expressed deep sympathy to the grieving families.

Similarly, Abubakar Fulata, the federal lawmaker representing Kirikasamma, Birniwa, and Guri Federal Constituency, visited the bereaved families to offer his condolences. He prayed for the souls of the deceased and encouraged the families to remain resilient during this difficult time.

The four deceased, all natives of Busuku, have been laid to rest in line with Islamic funeral rites.

Of the 12 injured, 10 are currently receiving treatment at Hadejia General Hospital, while two others with critical injuries have been transferred to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for specialized medical attention
