Rano Poly Reciprocate Tinubu s gesture by fully aligning with APC Ata urges Kano South

The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development,  Abdullahi Ata, has expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, for  establishing  Federal Polytechnic, Rano, in Kano South Senatorial Zone.

Ata , who said the historic move is a remarkable demonstration of political inclusion and a clear testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to equitable development across the country, urged the people of Kano South to reciprocate the gesture by fully aligning with the All Progressive Congress (APC).

“The decision to establish this critical institution of higher learning in Rano is a bold statement of the President’s unwavering dedication to education as the foundation of societal advancement. It also signifies a deliberate effort by the administration to bridge the gap of educational neglect that the region has suffered for many years under previous leaderships.
“The people of Kano South Senatorial Zone, who overwhelmingly voted for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the last election, have now witnessed an unprecedented act of goodwill from the President, a move that underscores his inclusive leadership style and nationalistic vision,” the minister said in a statement issued by his  aide, Seyi Olorunsola.

Ata congratulated the people of Rano and Kano South at large on this significant achievement and urged them to recognize this gesture as a symbol of massive love and commitment from President Tinubu to their progress.
He further called on the political leaders from the zone to take this opportunity to align themselves with the APC so as to maximize developmental opportunities for the region.
According to the Minister, “If the President can demonstrate such political goodwill despite their alignment with an opposition party, one can only imagine the greater benefits they would enjoy by fully integrating into the APC and working in synergy with the Federal Government.”
The Minister particularly appealed to prominent political figures in the region, firstly the ranking House of Representative Member from the area, Hon. Alhassan Doguwa of the APC, the Senator Representing Kano South Senatorial District, Senator Kawu Sumaila of the NNPP and  Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, a former Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, to lead the charge in rallying the people of Kano South towards the APC.
“As respected leaders and influential figures in the region, their alignment with the government at the center especially the last two of the NNPP would accelerate the attraction of infrastructural and economic investments to the area. These leaders have played a significant roles in the political and socio-economic development of the region, and their leadership is critical in mobilizing the people for purposeful engagement with the Federal Government.

“The establishment of the Federal Polytechnic, Rano, is not just an educational milestone but a clear indicator of the President’s strategic approach to governance. It is an opportunity for Kano South to reposition itself for greater developmental strides by forging stronger ties with the government at the center. The Minister of State, therefore, urges all stakeholders, traditional leaders, and political figures to embrace this moment as a turning point for the region,” the statement said.
