Portable calls out Olamide over rumored fallout with Asake

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred up conversations after publicly calling out renowned rapper and music executive, Olamide, over his alleged fallout with former YBNL signee, Asake.

Rumors have been swirling about a dramatic split between Asake and Olamide’s YBNL Nation.

Addressing the rumors in a video posted on his social media, Portable criticized Olamide for his rumored handling of the situation, while also sharing his own grievances with the rapper.

Portable recounted his experience with Olamide during the production of his hit song, Zazu.

According to the singer, Olamide contributed only a verse to the track rather than signing him to YBNL. He claimed that despite this, he remains more grateful than Asake, whom Olamide reportedly signed and heavily supported.

The self-styled “Wahala Musician” went further to accuse Olamide of taking his producer and dancer instead of offering him a record deal.

Portable said, “Olamide Baddo, if you had asked me to sign to your record label, I would have gladly accepted it. But instead of you to sign me, you snatched my producer, dancer and promoter Kogbagidi from me.

“The person [Asake] you help no send you again. You only gave me verse and I’m still more grateful than Asake you gave your everything. Promote me the way you promoted Asake and see if I won’t progress more than him.”
