Tears as woman abducted with family in Abuja found dead

In a tragic turn of events, Esther Adesiyan, who was abducted alongside her husband, Michael, and their son, has been killed by her abductors.
The incident occurred on Monday when armed assailants stormed their residence in the Chikakore area of Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory. The kidnappers also took Michael’s elder brother during the attack.
After the abduction, the gunmen continued their rampage by attacking a poultry farm, where they kidnapped a man and injured his wife.
According to a family source, Esther’s body was discovered on Tuesday morning by vigilantes around Ijah-Gbagyi community in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State.
The vigilante team alerted their counterparts in Chikakore after recovering the body.

The source added, “The DPO of the Byazhin division here in Kubwa called me in the morning, and together we moved to the village to evacuate her remains. It has been deposited at the Kubwa General Hospital morgue.’’
Other sources said the woman appeared to have been exhausted while the kidnappers moved their victims into the bush leading their killing of her.
The source also said the kidnapper left her body in the area and continued their mission with other victims.
Also, Esther is survived by her husband and four children including the one in captivity of the kidnappers.
The kidnappers are also yet to communicate with members of the victims’ family since their abduction.
