A tragic incident occurred on the Eleme Junction axis of the Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway on Monday, as a 40-year-old woman, simply identified as Chioma, lost her life after being crushed by a truck that lost control.

Eyewitnesses reported that Chioma was seated at the back of a tricycle, locally known as “Keke,” when the truck, coming from Oyibo around 9 am, veered off course and rammed into the vehicle.

The eyewitness stated, “She was inside a Keke when it happened. The truck failed to break, and before you people were running, but before the Keke could move, the truck hit the side the woman was in and divided her body. “
