Discussions are centered around energy access in underserved regions, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and private sector investment.
The meeting between Tinubu and Osinbajo holds political significance, given their history.
Although Osinbajo was once a close ally of Tinubu, he contested against him in the 2022 All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary. Tinubu won the primary with 1,271 votes, defeating Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, and others.
