Kidnap suspects confess to hiding retired AIG’s wife behind her house

Two suspects arrested for the abduction of Folasade Odumosu, wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu, have confessed to keeping her hidden behind her residence for over a week.
The revelation has left many shocked, as it highlights the audacity of the kidnappers who concealed their victim within close proximity to her home.
Confessing, when paraded, one of the suspects said, “One man gave us the job, I don’t know his name. Four of us plus one other I don’t know were involved, so we are five. We went there with three guns but they were locally-made ones.

“We took her to the bush behind her house; there are many palm trees there. We kept her for like one week and two days. We demanded N40 million and they paid N20 million. We shared the money and I collected N4.25 million and my ‘brothers’ (gang members) also collected that amount. One of us knows the man who gave us the job.”
“We hid her at the back of her house. There are plenty palm trees there. If someone hides there, you cannot see the person,” the other suspect said.
Platinumpost reported that the retired AIG’s wife was abducted last week at the entrance of her residence in Arepo, Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State.
Fortunately, she was rescued with the effort of security personnel.
