MultiChoice announces upgrade promo for DStv, GOtv subscribers

MultiChoice Nigeria has announced the return of its annual Step-Up promotion, which gives DStv and GOtv users the opportunity to enjoy a higher subscription package by paying for just one level above their current plan.

The initiative, running from January 13, 2025, to March 31, 2025, offers access to an extensive range of premium entertainment content.

The promotion is available to new, active, and reconnected customers. Active subscribers can take advantage of the deal by upgrading to a higher package, while disconnected users can participate by reconnecting at a package above their previous one. New customers can also enjoy the offer by stepping up from their initial subscription.

Subscribers who opt for the Step-Up offer will gain access to premium programming, including live coverage of sports such as the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Tennis, Formula 1, UFC, WWE, and Boxing. Other highlights include international movies, series, telenovelas, music shows, news, and children’s content.

Tope Oshunkeye, MultiChoice’s executive head of marketing for West Africa, highlighted the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

“The Step-Up offer is our way of thanking customers for their continued support. At MultiChoice, we aim to deliver the best viewing experience while ensuring value for money,” she said.

MultiChoice also assured subscribers that all package upgrades would be completed within 48 hours of payment, ensuring minimal waiting time for users to enjoy their enhanced viewing experience.
