Police identify 17 criminal black spots in Abuja(FULL LIST)

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has identified 17 locations across Abuja as criminal black spots and outlined measures to enhance security in these areas.

According to the FCT Police Command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, these areas have been flagged due to their history of criminal activities.

To address the security challenges, the command has increased its strategic presence and operations in these locations.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Adeh emphasized that daily raids in the identified black spots are a key part of the force’s efforts to maintain law and order in the capital city.

She noted that proactive measures, such as increased patrols and intelligence-driven operations, are being employed to safeguard residents and deter criminal activities.

The police urged the public to cooperate by providing timely information about suspicious activities. This partnership, the command stated, is essential for ensuring the safety and security of everyone in the FCT.

She said, “Massive Successes Achieved Through Daily Raids. The sustained efforts of the FCT Police Command have yielded remarkable results, including: 348 suspects arrested for various criminal activities and 320 suspects prosecuted and charged to court.”
