JUST IN: Court grants Ooni’s ex-queen Naomi, principal bail

An Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ring Road, has granted bail to Olori Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hazmat, and Abdulahi Fasasi. The ruling was delivered on Monday by Justice K.B. Olawoyin, presiding over Court 8.

The decision followed a bail application filed by the defense counsels, which was argued on January 7. Justice Olawoyin set the bail conditions, requiring each defendant to provide a sum of ₦10 million and two sureties. The sureties are to submit landed property documents within the court’s jurisdiction.

Additionally, the defendants are required to surrender their international passports to the court and are prohibited from granting any interviews for the duration of the case.
