Nigerian university orders immediate online clearance for new students
One of the federal universities in the country, University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the commencement of online clearance for newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, the institution’s Public Relations Officer, disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday in Benin City.
According to Ehanire, the online clearance process is expected to be completed by January 15, 2025.
She emphasized that the directive applies only to candidates who have already been offered admission, while the admission process remains ongoing.

“The new students and clearance officers are advised to take note of this update and proceed accordingly,” Ehanire stated.
The university management urged all concerned parties to adhere to the timeline and ensure a smooth clearance process.
