Gunmen kill deputy superintendent of police in Abuja

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abba Danmallam has been tragically killed by gunmen in Abuja.

The officer, who previously served in the Katsina Command before transferring to Lagos and later Abuja, was reportedly trailed by the assailants and shot beside his car.

The incident came to light through a video shared by journalist Sadiq Lanre Ishaq on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

The video captured by an eyewitness revealed the officer’s official identification documents, confirming his rank as a three-star officer and his active service in the Nigeria Police Force.
