Tragedy as Ogun man slumps, dies in front of fuel station

A 45-year-old man, identified as Alani Rasaq, tragically lost his life after collapsing in front of a fuel station opposite the Fire Brigade office in Ifo, Ogun State, on Tuesday, December 17.

According to the fuel station manager, Segun Afolabi, the incident occurred around 3 PM. Afolabi reported the case to the Ifo Police Division, stating that the deceased had slumped at the facility.

Upon receiving the report, police officers arrived at the scene and transported Rasaq to the General Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead. His body has since been moved to the Ifo mortuary.

The spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident and disclosed that an autopsy is currently being conducted to determine the cause of death.
