JUST IN: Tight security at National Assembly as Tinubu present 2025 budget today

Ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives, security has been significantly heightened at the National Assembly Complex.
Armed police officers were stationed at key entry points, including the Main Gate (MOPOL), Villa Gate, and Annex Gates, ensuring that only individuals with proper accreditation were allowed entry. Despite the heightened security, the accreditation process went smoothly and without incident.
The usually bustling National Assembly Complex was unusually quiet, with both human and vehicular movement restricted in preparation for the president’s arrival.
