JUST IN: Tinubu names 8 new permanent secretaries(FULL LIST)

President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight permanent secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service across various states and geopolitical zones.
The announcement was made on Monday, reflecting the President’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance and representation in the civil service.
The appointments are aimed at addressing the administrative needs in specific states and zones where vacancies had existed, ensuring equitable distribution of leadership roles in the federal workforce.
“The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended that the new permanent secretaries be appointed after diligent selection,” Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed in a statement Monday evening.
The statement is titled ‘President Tinubu appoints eight new Permanent Secretaries.’
They are as follows:
1. Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)
2. Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)
3. Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)
4. Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)
5. Kalba Usman (Gombe State)
6. Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)
7. Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)
8. Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
Onanuga said it was the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following those appointed last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East and South-South.
The President urged the new permanent secretaries to demonstrate greater commitment, diligence and innovation in serving the nation.
