JUST IN: Again, EFCC to arraign Yahaya Bello over alleged N80.2bn fraud

The immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, is set to be arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today, Thursday, November 28, at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Bello will appear alongside his nephew, Ali Bello, and two other co-defendants, Dauda Suleiman and Abdulsalam Hudu. The group faces a 19-count charge that centers on alleged financial misconduct involving a staggering sum of ₦80.2 billion.

According to the EFCC, the charges include allegations of money laundering, breach of trust, and misappropriation of public funds.
