BREAKING: Finally, Port Harcourt refinery begins crude production

The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has officially announced that the Port Harcourt Refinery in Rivers State has commenced crude oil processing.

Femi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

He revealed that the refinery will operate at 60% capacity, processing 60,000 barrels per day (bpd).
