Barau donates 1,000 motorcycles worth over N1bn to Kano Police

Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, has made a significant contribution to enhancing security in Kano State by donating 1,000 motorcycles worth over N1 billion to the Kano State Police Command.
The donation, which was presented at the command headquarters in Kano, aims to boost the police’s ability to maintain peace and order in the state. Barau emphasized the importance of public support for security agencies, stating that it is crucial for them to perform optimally.
The motorcycles will be distributed to 76 divisions across the state, with 700 allocated to the Kano North Senatorial District and 300 to the police command for distribution across various divisions.
Barau commended the officers and men of the Kano State Police Command for their exceptional professionalism, dedication to maintaining peace and order, and contributions to the state’s progress and growth.

“I commend the officers and men of the Kano State Police Command for their exceptional professionalism in carrying out their constitutional duties.
“Their dedication to maintaining peace and order in the state is truly appreciated.
“As a token of appreciation, support will be provided to ensure they continue to perform optimally, contributing to the peace, progress, and political growth of Kano State,” Barau said.
CP Salma Dogo praised Barau’s donation, assuring that the motorcycles would be distributed to enhance security situations in the state. Chairman Eminent persons forum Mukhtar Gashash also applauded Barau’s efforts, calling on other philanthropists to emulate his gesture in supporting the Nigerian Police.
