Davido to celebrate 32nd birthday with N300m donation to orphanages

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced plans to mark his 32nd birthday with a generous donation of N300 million.

Taking to his X handle on Monday morning, Davido revealed that the donation will be distributed to orphanages and a charity dedicated to combating drug abuse among youths.

The singer emphasized his commitment to making a positive impact on society, especially for vulnerable groups.

Davido assured fans and followers that more details about the initiative will be shared in upcoming posts, further underscoring his dedication to philanthropy.

The OBO crooner wrote, “Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”

This is not the first time Davido has donated to charity in commemoration of his birthday.

In November 2021, Davido donated N250m to 292 orphanages in celebration of his 29th birthday.
