SABMF to host roundtable on youth development in Northern Nigeria

The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) is set to host an all-stakeholders roundtable focused on the development of youth in Northern Nigeria.
In a statement released on Friday, Engr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, the Director General of the Foundation, announced that the event would take place on November 19th and 20th, 2024.
The roundtable is designed to bring together key stakeholders to address the significant challenges facing Northern Nigeria’s youth and explore sustainable solutions for their development.
Umar emphasized the importance of the gathering, which will feature a keynote speech titled “Empowering the Next Generation: Strategies for Sustainable Youth Development in Northern Nigeria.” The address will set the stage for two days of in-depth discussions and collaborative initiatives.

The Foundation has confirmed that seasoned experts will serve as panelists, sharing their insights and offering practical solutions to the issues at hand. Additionally, discussions will also cover the economic and security challenges facing Northern Nigeria, ensuring a comprehensive approach to youth development.
“The event is expected to attract a distinguished audience, including Mr. President, the Vice President, Governors, the Speaker and members of the National Assembly, alongside other prominent Nigerians. The spectrum of Northern youth from various groups will also be in attendance, providing a platform for diverse voices and perspectives,” the statement added.
The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation remains dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders, with the goal of empowering the youth of Northern Nigeria and securing a brighter, more sustainable future for the region.
