First Lady pays condolence visit to Lagbaja’s family

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended her condolences to the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, during a visit to their residence.
She was joined by Hajia Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, and Hajia Ribadu, wife of the National Security Adviser, and they were welcomed by Mrs. Oghogho Musa, wife of the Chief of Defence Staff.
During her visit, Oluremi Tinubu offered words of comfort to the widow, Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, and her children, noting that life and death are in the hands of the Lord.
She encouraged the family to take solace in the legacy of service and honor that Lt. Gen. Lagbaja left behind and advised the children to stay focused on the values their father cherished.
Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja passed away at the age of 56 after a period of illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to Nigeria’s military and security.
