The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially postponed its upcoming elective congresses, which were initially scheduled for October 26, November 2, and November 9, 2024.
This announcement was made in a statement released by Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the party.

Although no specific reasons were provided in the official statement, insiders suggest that internal reorganization and a desire to ensure smooth proceedings could be factors behind the postponement.
The elective congresses are seen as crucial for the APC’s strategy in Rivers State, as the party seeks to strengthen its position ahead of future elections.
Morka reassured party members and stakeholders that the new dates would be communicated as soon as they are finalized.
This delay allows the APC time to streamline its internal processes and better prepare for the upcoming political landscape.
