BBNaija: I’m not rich yet, stop begging me for money – KellyRae

Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae, has expressed his frustration over the relentless demands for financial assistance from family and friends.

In a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels, the reality star revealed that ever since he publicly shared that he gifted his wife, Kassia, a generous N55 million from his BBNaija prize money, the requests for financial help have become overwhelming.

Kellyrae noted that the surge in demands has made it challenging for him to manage his personal finances, and he pleaded with those reaching out for favors to give him some time to settle.

He explained that while he understands people’s expectations, the pressure has become difficult to handle.

“I was receiving calls people close to us after I said I gave Kassia N55 million and they were asking for their own share of my prize money,” he said.

“I will like to say to everyone, I’m not a rich man yet please. The money is big but things are expensive. Even if it’s egg I want to buy, how many crates of eggs will I buy? Please allow a brother to settle.”

Recall that Kellyrae walked home with a cash prize of N60 million and a brand new car worth N40 million after winning the ninth edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show.
