 Principal killed in Abuja residence

The Principal of the Abuja Rehabilitation Centre, Bala Tsoho Musa, has been killed by an unknown assailant.

Musa, widely known as “Comrade,” was discovered lifeless on Friday night within the centre located in Kuchiko, a community in the Bwari Area Council of Abuja.

The centre, initially established by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), serves as a hub for skill acquisition training, particularly targeting beggars and individuals detained for public nuisance offences.

Sources revealed on Saturday that the deceased’s body was found alongside his wheelchair.

One source stated, “A piece of wood, believed to have been used in the attack, was discovered at the scene, and two of his mobile phones were missing.”

The source further added, “No one from the deceased’s household noticed the incident immediately, possibly due to the noise from the power generator. It wasn’t until a deaf female assistant returning from the hostel raised an alarm that the incident was uncovered.”

When contacted, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bwari, CSP Babayola Muhammad, confirmed the incident.
