Kwara gov appoints first class traditional ruler, one other

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has approved the appointment of two new traditional rulers in the state.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, Abdullahi Bata, on Friday.

The statement read : “This is to inform the general public that His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) following the completion of all due process has approved the appointment of His Royal Highness Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh as the new Elerin of Erin-Ile as 1st Class Monarch in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State and His Royal Highness Oba Johnson Olajide Kehinde as the Edemarun of Kajola as 4th Class Monarch in Oke-Ero Local Government Area Council of Kwara State.

The presentation of staff of office will come up tomorrow, Saturday 19th October, 2024.”
