Ganduje commiserates with NNPCL boss over daughter’s death

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has expressed deep sadness and condolences to the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, over the death of his daughter, Fatima.
PlatinumPost reports that the 25-year-old Fatima died on Friday in Abuja.
Ganduje, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, described the passing of the Kyari’s daughter as a great loss, not only to the family but also to all who knew and loved her.
While conveying the collective grief of the APC family, Ganduje said that no words can fully capture the pain of losing a child.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Mallam Mele Kyari and his entire family in this very difficult moment. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants the departed eternal rest and gives the family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the statement quoted Ganduje to have said.
He also prayed for Allah’s mercy and comfort for the bereaved family, urging them to take solace in the knowledge that their daughter’s journey on earth has been completed.
